Kinetic Health changes its name to Sonic HealthPlusPosted on 20 Feb 2014
Kinetic Health, a subsidiary of Sonic Healthcare Pty Limited, is pleased to announce that it will change its name to Sonic HealthPlus on Monday, 31 March 2014.
The name change is designed to reflect a closer alliance with parent company, Sonic Healthcare. Sonic Healthcare is Australia’s largest provider of pathology and radiology services and operates the country’s largest network of primary care medical centres via its subsidiary, IPN.
Kinetic Health CEO, Greg Hutchinson said the name change will allow the company to better leverage Sonic’s worldwide reputation, capability and expertise.
“This opportunity will enable us to reposition ourselves not only as providers of occupational medicine but also as providers of corporate and community healthcare solutions”.
“With increased access to and support from an established company like Sonic Healthcare, our growth and diversification of services will be greatly enhanced,” Mr Hutchinson said.
Sonic Healthcare CEO, Dr Colin Goldschmidt, said that the name change to Sonic HealthPlus would more closely align the company with Sonic Healthcare and its global operations and thereby provide the springboard for growth into international occupational health and wellness markets, where such services are in growing demand.
“Kinetic Health has established itself as the pre-eminent provider of occupational health solutions in Australia,” Dr Goldschmidt said.
“We are keen to see the company continue to build on its outstanding reputation on a global scale, especially in countries with identified demand for occupational health and associated services.”
